static LED headlight horizontal adjustment

Hello everyone.

I currently own a 2015 c400 with static LED headlights and the headlights are aimed a little too much to the right to my liking and with a little research, this black knob looking thing that is in the picture (not my pic btw) is what adjusts the horizontal beam, as far as i know of. Am i correct?

If so, how do you turn this thing? I've tried using a couple of tools but nothing made it turn.

Thanks in advance guys!

I would take your car to the dealer as a walk-in and let them do it. It takes them maybe 5 minutes. Both my 2015 and 2016 C300 needed to have the LED headlights readjusted upon delivery because they were done incorrectly at the factory. Seems to be a common issue.

Hi. I actually have taken it into the dealer and actually paid like 80 bucks to get it aligned and they said horizontal adjustment is not available on my car.. so I talked to two different techs at the service and both of them said it doesn't exist. So i just wasted my money lol

Ah, well that's odd. They should have given you your money back. That's just wrong IMO.

Yeah they said they adjusted something but I previously had them adjusted vertically and they were the same afterwards so I doubt they really did anything except maybe looked through those machines that shows the alignment of the headlights, if they did anything.

Hey guys.

So i took a look at my headlights again and I did find the place where I can adjust left and right but have no freaking idea how to do it. I thought this piece in red circle is like a cover and if i take it off, i thought I could turn it like how I can with the vertical adjustment knob but it doesn't come off and I even tried turning it with tools but it doesn't budge at all. Anyone have any idea?

I love everything about this car except this issue. My headlight beam is literally pointing the right side of the lane. The left headlight beam's hotspot is a little bit to the right side of the middle of the lane, if that makes sense.

Thanks in advance!!

Okay guys. I FINALLY figured out how to do the horizontal adjustment on my headlights. So my car actually had the tsb done in the past, which is putting a cap over the horizontal adjustment knob on the headlights so people can't mess with it. First of all, big thank you to my local dealer for not knowing **** about this. You guys told me there is no such thing as horizontal aim adjustment and here i am, finally figured out how to do it. THANKS for taking my money.

Anyways, I got so frustrated to the point that today, I figured, why don't i just put some force on it and see what happens. So i used a flat screwdriver, got into the corner of that black plastic cap, wedged it in using some force, and literally just tried to pop it off and it finally came off. It broke but I didn't care because i wasn't planning on putting it back in anyways. So here are some pictures for them, if anyone else is having the same issue as me.
