Looking to refute or confirm dealer claim that there is not a hard manual for 2017 C300 Comand system. My document set was a little light and I'm trying to get them to send me the Comand manual.

Dealer says that the manual is available through the Comand system. True, but that makes it hard to study in front of the TV.

I found a 178 page PDF version online for Comand for a 2017 C-class. I haven't found any 2018 manuals online yet. I've had it for a while and don't remember where I found it, but a Google should lead you to it.

Re letting you "not know" what C300 I have, I ordered a 2018 C300 sedan on July 7. The Camry was what I got when I needed to buy a car immediately after totaling a BMW 330Ci. My son gets the hand-me-down Camry. This will be my first MB in a while; I bought a used 1981 300 SD in 1986 and drove it for a few years.
