can I add ambient lighting to my 2017 c300
I just purchased a 2017 C300 without the ambient lighting package. Can I add this to my car

the million dollar question, aeroworks can do that for you, dont remember the cost but from what i read they can do to factory standards. Personally i think for the cost of mercedes benz i think it should be standard, it comes standard on the E (Well the model i had) and the S and it doesnt for others, makes no sense but it is what it is

above and like i said before you need to contact aeroworks, they can do the tri-color ambient lighting, not sure it will have all the lights (cup holders, rear passenger doors and seats)

Hi this may be a old thread but how easy will it be to add to a c300 2015 ?i found a kit on eBay just one color and it’s suppose to be plug and play , can anyone confirm ? Plus it’s only about 69 dollars

post the link for it that you saw, you may wanna check with aeroworks too if you wanna add the ambient lights to your car

looks like you will need three parts for the center.



And about 4 entirely new door trim pieces; you match the trim with the options you want. The wire harnesses are not able to be ordered as it comes with the door cards; so it has to be custom made or an entirely new door card ordered.

Johnny , if I just want the center light is it hard to connect the wires ? I think my center piece has the plastic tubes just no lights .

Ive done it on both the console and 4 doors. Quite easy.

I just want to do the center , my ash wood trim cane with these plastic looking pipes all all the bottom , wonder if I just need a bulb ?

the cost for this kit was 240$ and sure it was some work but not hard at all if you just take your time.
The rear doors I had to do wires all the way to the front but still not that hard.

No you need both the leds and wires in to the sam unit. And do the programing

Be very careful with these aftermarket kits. First, this will void your MB warranty. Second, you run the risk of crashing your Command Center software causing a significant cost at a Mercedes dealer to reinstall.Not sure why anyone would take the chance of downloading a Chinese patch on a German engineered piece of software. Definitely not worth the risk IMO.

I have a 2017 c300 with sport package and mine came with Tricolors ambient lights. I recommend not to get any third party crap as the quality isn’t like Mercedes and I would hate for you to void your warranty..
