Unable to take delivery of new 2017 C300
Hello. I recently purchased a new 2017 C300 and upon trying to drive the car home I received a service immediately light. The new car has 20 miles on it. The dealership has had the car for 3 days and is still diagnosing the problem. They share the fact that the history for this car reveals a wiring problem??!! They are running down the wiring as it related to the wiring of the airbags.
Here is what else is mind blowing. They set me up in a courtesy loner another C300 with 3,100 miles and I have to acknowledge that the collision assist is inoperable. Does not work??!!
I am looking for advice on how to deal with my current situation with the new car and comments regarding the overall quality of the recent C300 product. Thanks.

Don't know where you live, country, but you need to look into your lemon laws, if you have any. You'll also have to wait and see what the dealership come back with. Hope this works out well for you. Regarding collision assist, I think this is automatically on and doesn't need user interaction. I stand to be corrected tho...

The collusion inoperable thing seems common dealership should be able to fix it easily, what’s disappointing is that mb tells them to do software fixes or resets first time the problem occurs
in my case the car was loosing power on highway! Which was alarm and shocking that they don’t jump to fixing both the hardware and software, second trip to get it fixed was like 50k miles back.
my car had a tone issues nothing to do with electrical wiring so idk how serious your issue can get but i’m happy to report they all got fixed by the dealer
