Install Option 890 : Automatic Tailgate S205 Estate Modell
Hello,
maybe you guys can help me out for installing a extra oem option in my mercedes S205 estate C350e.
the parts i already found like motor/buttons/...
i have the asra/wis software to install it but the only thing i cant find is what about the wiring loom?
is a car without this option off factory provided with the connectors for this option?
i know its in the left trunk side where i have to connect with the drive module but i dont find some info for extra wiring looms for this option.
samen problem i have for the Oem rear camera option and Oem folding towbar.
hope you guys can give me more info of pictures of can tell me were i can find this in asra wis
or if there existing manuals for building in factory options

Yes - the wiring harness in your Mercedes was built specifically for only those options built with your Mercedes - not really any extra "connecting wires"...
That's the way Meredes and other luxury brands have been for quite a while - the harness is made specifically for the features being built-into that specific vehilce.
No waste this way..

i thought i just had to place the extra wiring harness from the tailgate to the left side in the trunk and i was wondering if from there i could connect the new wiring on the harness.
because i dont find any pictures of the trunk side where the modules are placed.

Did you manage to install the automatic trunk release? I would like to do the same, what all will be needed??
