I hit a bad pothole on Thanksgiving (Happy Thanksgiving!) which caused a blowout and now a bent rim. It's a 2015 C400 4-Matic with the 19" AMG 14 spoke rims. Part number seems to be 20540113007X21 if I'm reading this all right.
I seem to have a few options:
- Buy new from the dealer. Price quoted to me was $1,110 + tax in CA
- Find a used one from someone. I see several on eBay and other sites for ~$500 that look to be in pretty good condition.
- Buy a remanufactured one from somewhere. Also on eBay with questionably low prices like $299. I'm pretty much ruling this option out.
What do you all recommend in this situation? It's all a bit overwhelming and obviously more expensive than I'd like for a freaking pothole. The car is currently in a tire shop waiting for me to bring them a wheel so there's some advantage to getting it quickly, but I'm also willing to wait to save hundreds.
Thank you!

if you drive your car with passion dont repair the wheel with a weld. is it cracked or just bent? If bent you could find a place to form it back to place. but for my piece of mind id get one that hasnt been bent or cracked.

Wheels America has location in Bay Area as well as LA. Can exchange your wheel for a remanufactured. I have used them in Dallas. They do good work.

Thank you all! I went ahead with a good condition used one from Wheels America. I didn't think to sell them my bent one but I'll give them a call.
Perhaps a dumb question but should I assume I need an alignment done? If so, what should that cost in the bay area?
