Rear Seat Belt Indicator (C220 (2016))
Hello MB World,
I have recently acquired a 2016 C220D from a main dealer. I've done some looking up, but just for some personal reassurance that any occupancy sensors in the back aren't 'dead' I hope you can help me with the following query:
When I start the vehicle and drive away, a rear set belt 'image' or indicator appears highlighting the rear seats in yellow with an unbuckled icon even though nothing is sat (or placed) on the rear seats. It then disappears after a few seconds with no audible sound.
Could I get some confirmation that this is absolutely standard and should be happening? Are there even mass occupancy sensors in the back of the car at all?

Absolutely normal, I am on my 2nd W205 and both just show the rear seatbelt signs, you can clear it immediately by pressing the OK button, as far as I am aware there are no sensors on the rear seats.
