Sometimes the auto tilt does not work over time. As Standingoten said, just choose the passenger side mirror and then it will work again.
Special mercedes feature to remind you how lucky we all are to have this feature? Haha

trust me it’s a great feature for anyone wanting to protect their wheels. My bmw does it but to a fixed level that is no use to me as I can’t see the wheel vs kerb gap like I can in the Merc.

It is a great feature, but I miss having it on the drivers mirror as well. My old 2007 Maxima would allow you to tilt either mirror down by selecting them while in reverse. It would be great if MB did that as well. I do a lot of parallel parking in the city, which has 1-way streets, and there are plenty of times I'm parking on the left side of the road... so why only enable it for the right mirror?
