GLC 300 SUV

Voice Button only works for Navigation

I have a 2017 GLC 300 SUV. When I press the voice button on the steering wheel, it automatically takes me to the navigation screen and will only accept voice commands related to the navigation system. I can't use the voice command feature for the telephone or radio. Any ideas on a solution would be greatly appreciated.

reset the system to factory default. After, do your own setup. I've seen the issue on a GLC 300 i had as loaner. I used this method to fix.

Is there a way to turn off voice guidance by default on COMAND navigation? I know it can be done once guidance has been activated but I would like to have it permanently off. Thanks.
