Side mirror cover installation help
Hi guys i need help with side mirrors cover installation on my w205. Am trying to find the old thread with step by step but no luck. Anyone can show me how? Thank you

This is actually pretty easy to do but I don't know about any video tutorials. So I will talk you through it.....
1) start of by getting a couple of plastic bicycle tire removal tool (any bike shop can sell them to you for between 1 and 5 dollars). You can use a flat head screwdriver but you will risk scratching the cover.
2) insert the tool in the top section, between the painted and roughened surface. I found the easiest place to start was close to the inside corner ( section closest to the door )
3) once you have pried the cover apart slightly insert the second tool druthers down the edge ( closer to the out side of the mirror ) and work your way along using a fair amount of force. You will hear the plastic tabs pop as they release.
4) once you have it opened enough to get your finger in the gap, slowly pull the entir cover away from the mirror. This is the scariest part of the entire process as I every time I did this I thought I would break them.
5) once you have seperate the cover you will need to remove the electric connection for the indicator.
and now it is free for you to do whatever you need too.
