Exclamation Way too big - 20 inch Vossen VFS-4 Hybrid Forged Wheels

Just bought one set of wheels + tires, but found out they way too big... 20 inch looks very nice, but front wheels poke out 40 mm, back wheels 50 mm. there is still around 10 mm gap between front wheel and control arm.
my conclusion, if the wheels only poke out 20 mm, it should be perfectly fine, and will not scratch the fender, but anything over 20 mm, should be cautious. next round experiment, looking for 19 OEM AMG wheels, have to sell this set.

those info are your references, hope it can help. any comment?

If I used 265/30/20 on the rear rim, will it still rub the rear fender? I am worried the tires may rub the rear fender when running over potholes. any suggestion?

Spec for 20" Vossen on w205 should be as follows:
20x8.5 +35 Front / 20x10 +48 Rear
IF you are lowered like me, I recommend going 255 rears to prevent rubbing. I also tried a 245F and 275 rear combo and I rubbed in the rear.
The problem with your setup is that your offset is really aggressive, not just the tire width

225/35/20 and 255/30/20

Thanks for the info.
Agree, I just sold the wheels and tires. Do you need spacers for your current rims?

Hi, what should be the best setting if using 19" instead of 20"? Thanks.

Your front wheels look a bit bigger (to me) than the backs. 22 inch?
