Concerned about audio system after I saw water drip into door speaker grills
Hello everyone! First time poster here.
So I took my 2015 C300 for a tint the other day and saw the people working on the car spraying down the inside of the windows with a soap+water solution pretty generously. there was obviously a lot of drippage with water flowing down the inside of the doors. I did witness some water dripping/streaming into the burmester audio grills on the doors and immediately got concerned. I asked the shop owner and he told me not to worry about it as they work on these cars all the time (they are also a custom audio solutions shop).
Afterwards I listened to some pretty varied loud music and put my ear up against the speakers to see if I could hear anything obviously out of place, but wasn't able to really tell, as I've only had this car a week. I didn't hear any crackling or popping though that's for sure.
Do I have any reason to be worried here? Am I just being paranoid?

I don’t know much about tinting. Maybe he means find a shop that doesn’t use the water gushing into your door technique. If that’s even possible. Like I said, I know very little about tinting.

quite a bit of water is used to install tint. I had mine done with no concerns about speakers, etc. if it scares you, don’t tint the windows. Is that expansive enough?

Expansive enough, no...a waste of ink, yes! You're not telling me anything I don't already know. I am looking for valuable information not bottomless wise cracks and/or bloated chest-banging talk.
