2019 C Class Facelift?

What do you all think about the new facelift? I think it looks great. It is a shame no MBUX though

Next gen C class will reportedly have an even more advanced version of the MBUX system. I hope the next gen C43 get the amazing belt-less 48 volt M256 engine.

Maybe it's worth a closer look ?

What's not to like about almost 6500 changes, including the following :

1). revised and improved styling for front and rear bumpers/aprons
2). upgraded engine performance (+14HP) and fuel efficiency
3). standard high performance LED headlamps and optional multi-beam LED headlights
4). optional digital dash
5). newly designed, full LED tail lights
6). upgraded safety systems as standard, including Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Blind Spot Assist that can provide warnings AFTER ignition is switched off and the door is opened.
7). smartphone integration with wireless charging
8). new ambient lighting with 64 colour choices
9). Mercedes/Me connectivity

Not worth it for many including myself. I rather spend the money on a used C43 than buy a 2019 C300. Many of these features have been standard for years on cars half the price.

All good things but not good enough to make me go through the car buying process,I’m not excited enough for it .

tbh it’s gonna suck a little when those new headlights start to appear everywhere lol reminding me , th re is better tech out there.

Indeed it is!
My 2016 GLC lease is ending in December, so I am coming back to C-Class for 2019 because of this refresh and the new tech. And also basically because in 3 years I've decided I like how sedans drive and handle more than SUVs. I'll even put up with a delay on delivery to get head-up display. Can't wait to get a more firm date on delivery.

Interested to see if those facelift lights (tail and maybe head) can easily be put into the pre-facelift 205

Sounds like you would have been a very enthusiastic buyer of the C Class wagon, had it not been denied to US buyers by MBUSA ! Thank heavens that wiser minds persist within MB Canada !!! C Class Wagon fans in Canada have the opportunity to choose from either the 2019 C300-4Matic wagon or the 2019 C43-4Matic wagon ! What's not to like about sedan handling/performance combined with SUV-like practicality and a very stylish body - the S205 ?

Pretty much. I cannot say that I completely undestand all of MBUSA's market and product decisions.

Even before the MY2019 refresh, IMO, the C Class wagon looks stunning ! It will look even better for MY2019 !

I think we should invade Canada and take all the wagons.
I'm going to send Trump a letter. He'll do it! He'll do just about anything!

So according to this article: 2019 C-Class offers 3 Navigation Systems: Pros and Cons! you can get 10.25" screen as a standalone option. Meaning I can stick with the Smartphone Integration for my Note 8. Because the only reason I was considering Multimedia pack was the advantage of the new big widescreen... but since I can just add the new bigger screen and use it with Android Auto, I would definitely drop Multimedia out... Any ideas why not?

I think it's great that Mercedes made improvements like this----Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as STANDARD (imagine that?!), introducing MB Entry Navigation, and offering the 10.25" screen as a stand-alone option. But I did include Multi-Media Package in my build because I like the seamlessness of the navigation system. Moreover though, this time around I picked every option that I even thought I may want so that I don't have regrets later (which is what I came to feel with my current GLC because I thought "I didn't need" some of the options/packages).

I also LOVE that people are talking about the upcoming 2019 model on this board, instead of all the after-market 'spam' posts that basically pollute the space.

If you are considering the digital instrument cluster, the Multimedia Package is required.

First I was thinking about '18 C43 AMG just because I liked the way Diamond-block grille looks. Then I found out that '19 C43 is actually stripped of that grille in the favor of '18 C63 Twin-laurel grille, which I'm not crazy about. I actually like the new'19 C63' Panamericana grille, but it's really over my budget. And then i found out that Diamonds grille is going to '19 C300 equipped with AMG pack... So now basically I think I'll be getting '19 C300 with AMG package. And the only option, besides AMG pack, I really need is a standalone Blind-Spot Assist. I was thinking about Multimedia pack just because of the new big widescreen... but now after I read that I can get it as a standalone option, I'm really Ok with just Smartphone Integration - and it will be standard. As far as digital instrument cluster, I looked at both and I'm totally OK with the regular cluster.

I just can't believe how much money I'm saving... just by waiting for 2019 model, comparing to how much I would spend if I went for 2018 model as I was intended! It's amazing - just a little internet research saves you thousands of $$$.
