Just a PSA regarding your included first-aid kits

I had the need to break open my first-aid kit last weekend. I had a pretty good bleeder and I found out the hard way that the band-aids in the kit are horrible. They don't stick, they barely absorb, and the adhesive came off on my finger in a sheet, necessitating the use of rubbing alcohol to remove it while my cut kept running blood. Do yourselves a favor and replace your bandages with good ones. You never know when it will actually be important.

Thanks for the tip. I don't remember getting a first aid kit in my car, and what I did was actually put an emergency bag in the space where the spare tire would have gone, if I didn't have run flats. The emergency bag has a blanket, water pouches, emergency food, etc.
