What was your experience like?
Good, bad or Ugly?
Seems like an elegant solution to "first world problems" that C Class drivers may have.
Definitely like the Video in motion and ECO - start/off and Seat belt warning sign off.

There's another thread around here about a module that handles the dynamic select and eco functions that got good reviews. It did not, however, unlock the VIM or stop the seat belt sign. If you can live without those two options it's supposed to be a solid unit and installs in a panel in the passenger side firewall inside the cabin IIRC.

I have seen this and other similar devices advertised on eBay. My concern is that getting 1 bit wrong during the firmware update from this unknown third party vendor may effect something else in the car’s computer. Numerous times over the years I have installed software on my desktop computer, which then did not work correctly. I had to remove the software and do a complete system re-install to get the computer to operate as before. I would not like this to occur with my car and especially to those computer sensing safe driving features. But, I would really like to completely turn off the stop-start function. Please follow up with a post if you try it.

This programing was done by Vladimir in Belarus - frankly his programming is righteous - provide the full VIN# to confirm what functions you can have - on the customer installs for ECO and Profile Select I done have been fine - I will never suggest VIM to my customers because that's just plain Bozo ...
