C300 Dinan Tune Consensus?

I'm looking to tune my C300 and I saw that Dinan has a 20% sale going on. What's the general consensus on the Dinan tune for the C300?

Reliability? Ease of install/remove? Service? Effectiveness? Butt Dyno?

Would another tune be better?

Thanks.

20% of is a great deal. I paid full price and its worth that. Gives the car more pep but nothing crazy. Install is as simple as it gets. Same with uninstall. I don't plan on letting the dealership see it.

OK, so Dinan itself is not having a sale.

just installed mine and was amazing on all fronts.
-Easiest installation of any plug n play tuner I’ve done(took less than 5-7 min)
- very noticeable difference in mid range power
-car goes through the rev range a lot quicker
-feels like less”dead spots” in overall drive. Where you can mash on it pretty much anywhere and it jumps now(to earlier post...less laggy in some areas for sure)

For a C300 4matic not the 6 cyl cars...Is there going to be any difference with this thing that I can't get by just switching from C to S Mode? My car pulls like a **** after say 3000- 3500 RPM and up in any agility mode. I never mash the gas pedal, thats not as good as a linear pressure is in my opinion for drive by wire. Its tempting at 265 or so with the 20 off now. Whattaya think???

I have had the Dinan for maybe 8 months now with no problems and great results. I leave it in SPORT 90% of the time and ti makes driving in eco mode pretty good for traffic. Comfort has very little turbo lag and I almost never go above it under normal driving. I have taken it out before and driven the car some and I'd say it's worth $265

Yes there's a difference with this. Switching from C to S doesn't change your actual horsepower or torque. If you look at the dynos I posted last year there's a significant gain from this mod.

I'm about to pull the trigger on this one. Any warranty issues? If I were to unplug it before going to the dealership, will they know I had used it? thanks

A gaggle of MB's
Unplug it and no one is the wiser - it "piggy backs" the existing MB ECU - that's the beauty of effective plug-in upgrade modules like this Dinan
