Dealer throttle body and fuel injector treatment
Dealer suggested throttle body and fuel injection cleaning. I’m at 40k. Where does this fall on the scam level for you guys? I am not easy on the car. It’s hard to resist with 330hp!! I have noticed a little rumble when it idles. I imagine the service won’t hurt anything. Anyway. Thoughts?

Well... 40K miles today - what I would do
Frankly with your rig you are about at the point to consider fresh plugs - recommended at "odd mileage 46,500 - I have attached the Maintenance Guide check pg #42.
The "trick" here is to find out from your dealer if your purchase Prepaid Maintenance if that plug service will be included - if you haven't done 40K service yet if it would be included - or if you have already done 40K service done - if it will be covered to 50K.
With pre-paid service - you have to purchase prepaid BEFORE opening a Service Ticket .
Injection system cleaning with the correct shop equipment can't "hurt" - all comes down to how much they want to charge you - some would say does your tank with 1/2 $9 bottle of Stabil Blue (Stabil Marine Formula Stabilizer) to help clean the system from tank forward - then do a 2nd dose in 5K miles with the rest of the bottle.
Hope this is helpful to maybe save you some dough...
