Best place to get 12V power C300 trunk
Hey Folks,
I'm helping a buddy install a backup camera on a w205 c300. Everything went smoothly and we ended up pulling power for the cameras wireless transmitter from one of the wires going to the license plate lights.
Everything worked great, but after a few uses the license plate light warning came on and the car cut power to the transmitter. If I remove the transmitter the lights start working again. I assume this is drawing too much - is there a better place to pull 12V power from in the trunk?
Cheers,
Mike

Try to use one of the fuses in the trunk, just twist the wire around one ofte legs of the fuse
