Three MB's: GLK, ML & E - Class with Panam Grill

After much argument with the dealership threatening to take my 3 MB's to some other dealership, an email from MBUSA asking the service manager to call me within 24 hours, even though I didn't try to talk to him while there and even though MBUSA'S stated that they can't tell a customer what is /is not covered under the warranty which is non-sense leave it to the individual dealership to pull it out of their hats as they please.....the service manager agreed to do it without charge. They kept saying it is not covered under the base warranty and CPO since the warranty book doesn't say the word "software" or "software update" just the command unit itself. So I told them fine; rip it all up and replace the entire head command unit than.....regardless it done now and that's my last hopefully.
Also; the DOM didn't get updated. Is it like the Date of Manufacturer or specific to every car that doesn't change with updates? Honestly; I don't see any difference between the 5.8 and 6.8. Anyone noticed any difference?

depending on your model… but on W213 push down on the wheel in the center console for about 10 seconds you’ll see the Dealer menu opens up. However…. NEVER EVER think about hitting reset intentionally or un-intentionally. Stay away or your life will be miserable to get it back right since nobody has the archive of your system.
