Here's my new 2019 C300
Am I 1st? Not that this is a competition...but am I 1st? ;-) Here's my new 2019 C300, picked up on Thursday. It replaces a 2016 C300, and so far I am much happier with this one.
I did not get the AMG sports package on the 2019, opting for more comfort in my old age. And I am thrilled with that decision as the ride of this car is head and shoulders better than the 2016 (even with the same wheel and tire sizes). That being said, the tires on my 2016 were on their last legs, so that surely contributed to the ride and noise factors.
The interior is roughly the same, with a few new refinements. Most notably, the screen is now 10.25" diagonally (I believe the old one was 8.5"). I think it is also either positioned lower or is slightly shorter as it doesn't seem to sit as high above the dash as the old one. The system is considerably faster too (I did get Comand which also includes CarPlay and Android Auto). I also have the conductive charging pad, which is pretty convenient.
On the outside, the most notable upgrade is the new style wheels, which IMO really look great on the white car. And the new headlights are very cool looking and seem to light the road very well (only 1 night drive so far).
All-in-all, I am thrilled with the "upgrade" even though it is technically (and $$$ wise) a slight step down. I think the MSRP on this car was about a grand lower than my 2016 build. But it feels more refined.
Thanks for looking!

Beautiful! Congratulations! Drive it in good health.
I am replacing my MY16 GLC 300 4Matic with a 19 C300 4Matic...also in white and quite nicely loaded.
The new tech brought me back to C Class; I had a 2010 and 2013 before my current GLC.
I should be taking delivery by EOM this month or very early November and I really cannot wait!!!
Your photo kind of kindled yet more anticipation and excitement for me!

I have a 2017 GLC300, which I also really enjoy. That vehicle drives like a dream, and this new C300 is MUCH closer in comfort to the GLC than my 2016 C300 was. I am assuming mainly because of the suspension differences, and somewhat because of the tires. I also was never a fan of the tighter seats on my old C300 (I am not exactly skinny).
I was really close to just getting a 2nd GLC this time around, but very pleased with my decision to stick to 1 car + 1 SUV. My GLC lease is up this time next year, and I am 99% sure I will get another of those. I hope these same tech changes carry over to the GLC (which I believe will be a 2020 when I buy, but possibly an EOY 2019).
Side note: I just measured the screens on the 2 vehicles (and assume the old 2016 C300 screen was positioned like my GLC300). The new screen itself is about 5x11 and the old screen is about 10x5-1/2, so it does in fact sit slightly lower. You do notice that difference when driving, the new screen seems more "integrated" than "stuck on". The new screen has thinner black bezels all around, so there is significantly more true viewing real estate.

Hi jdag,
On your 2019, do you notice the the image quality on the COMAND screen (resolution) is also improved? I'm hoping so.
Nice car. My 2019 C300 is at the dealership; I'm just negotiating my lease to hopefully pick up later this week.
Good luck!

I would say it is somewhat better, but I didn't think the old one was bad. And, it might be more my "new car bias". I'd have to look more closely at the C300 compared to the GLC. My wife is away for a couple of days with the new car, so I cannot verify.

New 2019 c coupe
Nice. Picked up mine last week. First Mercedes. Love the new refresh added features of the 2019 refresh. Was difficult to locate a white on black but glad I did. Love the color combination. I did the AMG package and the night package which really set off the white in my opinion.

Question for 2019 c300
Hey great car! My girfriend also got the car last week but we are having an issue with the car. And I wanted to check with other owners to see if you have the same issue.
Driver side door wouldnt close properly..wouldnt close all the way with normal force . Dealer exchanged to another vehicle. But the new car also has the same problem.
And we later found out its bc of the air pressure of the car. So we tested multiple 2019 models and all of them had the same issue..just with the driver side door.. when i leave any windows down or any other doors opened, the driver side door closes properly.
Both my girlfriend and I have been driving Benz for a number of years so it's not something we are being picky on.
Do you have the same problem? Should we notify manufacturer?
thanks

Hi Aidenk,
I have not noticed any problems with the doors not closing all the way. I have noticed that I have to push sort of hard to close any of the doors; more specifically the back doors as they are lighter. The 2019 c class does seem to require a little more effort to close the doors then my 2015 c class. All that said, it hasn't been an issue for me at all.
Overall I have noticed that this 2019 c class is much more 'finished' than the 2015...which was the first year for the new body style. My 2019 c class hasn't shown any bugs, quirks, etc. and it's been fantastic to drive.
What audio system does your girlfriend's C have? And how do you like it? I've got the standard audio system and I've been very impressed with it.

Hey Plepster,
Glad to hear you like the car! I drive 2015 c class and my gf drove 2016 c class and now she got the 2019 c class. It's definitely more of a finished product in comparison to older models since the facelift in 2015.
i have the burmester sound system in my 2015 c class and she has the standard option in her 2019 c class. I enjoy both but i give edge to the burmester for the depth. But the standard option sounds much better than expected.
The new dashboard and 10 inch screen is gorgeous as well as the ambient light options for inside the cabin.

Wow! That's awesome. So I noticed that the 2019's now have twin-scroll turbo. Did you notice any speed gains from you '16?
Love the new lights on the 19's as well. Hope you can post more pics!

The artificial lighting in the photos below does not do justice to Selenite Grey metallic. This colour looks stunning in sunlight !

I agree with all comments above. The 2019 C is quieter, more refined ride and comfort, a little bit quicker, and has much better resolution and speed in the center 10" screen.
I miss the Burmester audio system in my 2019 C, but the more I listen to the standard audio...the more I like it.
Apple Carplay is nice to have. The MB Garmin Nav was terrible...my opinion. I'm using Google Maps more than Apple Maps. Apple Maps' AI doesn't always choose the best or fastest route. Kind of weird. It's also great doing texts via voice.
The voice command button on the steering wheel provides many more options than my 2015 C did. Must easier to do more things hands free...which is great for CA drivers.

The only issue I had was the in car WiFi. Wouldn't work or give me the option to connect to it. I notified dealer and escalated to Mercedes Me. Still haven't heard back from them on a resolution.

My 2019 C300 comes in 12/7/2018. Fuse location question.
As I am thinking about the hardwire radar installation, Is there a fuse box location in the passenger compartment on the driver's side?

You will not be disappointed with your new 2019 C300 4M ! The 2019s are a big improvement over the earlier MY W205s. My new C300 wagon feels very refined, substantial and powerful. Steering and brakes are excellent ! Virtually no road or wind noise at highway speeds. The new digital dash, ambient lighting, high resolution media screen and active LED headlights are all superb !
