backfiring with exhausts in c300
Does anyone know how to make the sound of the exhausts backfiring? I mean, when you listen a c63, you can listen typical exhaust sound (bakfire), so I would like to do it in my c 300 with sport exhaust system (I know that will be not the similar sound, but i want to know how backfiring with exhausts).
I do not know if it can be done in a Mercedes C 300 with sports exhaust system. Should we stop accelerating? ....

is there actually a flap in the exhaust ? Or they just inject a bit of fuel?
I see that on the C63, there is an actual muffler actuator part from the parts list. Nothing like that for the C300.

On the C300s it's via injecting fuel. The C63/43 has the Performance Exhaust as an equipment option which uses the actuator as you posted.

My 15 does this but it’s more like a burble than a crackle/pop. I hear it a lot less since I installed Dinan piggyback 🤔.

yesterday I was told that this crackle can be programmed opening the ECU. Mine is already flashed but will probably go to my shop and test it.. Programmer told me it has something to do with turbo anti-lag

i experimented a bit and it really happens only in sports plus, not in confort mode. Also, you need to be flooring it or almost wide open throttle. Manual shifts make it happen to, no need to go to red line.
