Airmatic seems to be problematic regardless of class, dont think its C400 specific problems.

Post the pump that was replaced to get rid of the engine tick if you can. Not sure i have that problem but its good to know about for future. Did they say if it would cause problems long term or just a noise like the axles?

What would be more aggressive with the C450 transmission, they are both 722.9 7G tronic Plus tranys. They do appear to have different part numbers so there must be some change, any MB techs care to share info here?

As for the power difference, its a slight boost increase between the years to get the power difference. Just get a JB4 and you will be at 2019 C43 power level but with 45/55 power being put down
Also despite all the talk about engine differences, i cant find anything concrete, turbo exhaust manifolds are the same part # across the years so if there is a impeller change wouldnt it show with that? The boost control valve is different through with the C43/E class 3.0, so maybe thats where some higher spool/power confusion comes from?
