Can anyone recommended a compatible adapter and app. for Mercedes to use on the ios platform?

I had Carly for BMW and had the Generation 2 adapter.

I don't think the Gen 2 will work and wonder if there is anything better than Carly out there?

I use Veepak wifi OBD reader along with my iphone and a combination of apps. The best one so far has been OBD Fusion, Car Scanner, and OBD2 Expert.
To clear codes, its best to do so when the engine is off and the ignition accessory.
