Retrofit pre-facelift W205 screen with bigger facelift W205 screen

Is it possible to retrofit screen from W205 (year 2015) with the bigger screen of W205 (year 2019) ?
See te picture below.

It is absolutely possible, in fact, I've seen people "retrofit" the W222 virtual cockpit (left widescreen display) by connecting it to the W205 inputs, let alone facelift equipment designed to play nice with the old connections for maximum profit margins. All of the inputs are extremely similar across the range (VLSI principles, easy maintenance, spare parts manufacturing, profit margins) and additional functionality is always (when possible) built as a superset of the common set. It's not necessarily a clean plug 'n' play but it isn't impossible. The infotainment system might be more difficult because unlike the instrument cluster, it is not exactly self-contained and requires the head unit to operate, which was probably upgraded to handle the bigger screen size which now seems to be a high-DPI one.

Personally, I'm not interested in a how-to because I'm good with electronics and reverse engineering, the biggest problem is finding the digital cockpit and the head + display infotainment unit on EBay. All I can find are the trash old ones...And they really are trash, especially the base ones... Unbecoming of a Mercedes that was released in 2014. I've also been unsuccessfully trying to hunt down the new headlight and backlight assemblies in a very annoying case of having money, but the supply being seemingly non-existent. If anyone could hook me up with some legit shop, I'd be eternally grateful.

I have a 2018 C300. Can I just buy the OEM Head unit and a 10.25 inch screen and it will work? Not interested in changing the instrument cluster. Also will it work with the 2018 Steering wheel?

Regards

Can you put up a guide then. For those who are not interested in Android. A quick checklist will be great.
As said before. I really just want the screen to be bigger without having to use those Chinese android screens.

no they are after market lights that look a bit like the S class, there is some post in here about those lights for the W205 also.
in a way its a shame you can't just plug in a bigger screen just because of the fixed resolution on the comand
