On a side note I was given a 2022 GLE 350 as a loaner. The interior was impressive especially the 12.3" Widescreen Display touchscreen and improved sound system

Having this issue on my 2016 C300 Sport and brought It in to the dealer this morning and they said yes, they would cover the upper hose under warranty, but the center and lower fuel hose is what’s making the smell and that will cost $721.92. And that in order to warranty the top one, I would HAVE to service the center and lower hoses. Has anyone else found this to be the case? Has anyone just had the top hose done?
Thanks,

If you are looking for another option, I suggest going to an independent repair shop and I'm sure they can replace all 3 just as good as a dealer can for less than the cost of the dealer replacing 2.
What good is getting something for free when in the end it costs you more?

Good luck!

I will take your suggestion and look for an indy here in the Chicagoland area that will most likely do it for much cheaper than $700. Thanks again!
did they fix it for free??
can anyone point me the high pressure pump location? I replaced the bottom fuel hose (10min job) but it didnt resolve the issue. So my next step is to examine the HP pump hoses and clasps.

Also, your dealer has to be an idiot if they don't know that the fuel hoses they're talking about is on the drivers side.. away from the exhaust which is on the passenger side.
