Looks easy enough. DRL lights up blue, then white.

Yes, this is the much cheaper version to get the startup welcome light! I have this and its fantastic!

Just a note about this particular sale, the blue is a lighter hue (called the ice blue). See the pictures below between my friend's DRL and mine (black car).

Another note is this particular DRL will remain blue for 1 minute before changing to white. If you want to keep similar to the original style, then you will need to source for the one that last under 5 secs.

Thanks for the info. 1 minute seems extremely long. Is your (black) car the regular blue or the ice blue? (I like your color better)

Do you know of any Youtube videos showing the 1 minute sequence?

mine is the regular blue (black car). Unfortunately i do not have the video for the 1 minute sequence.

I got mine from Aliexpress about a year plus back, the listing was since removed, but that would be the best bet to search for this.

I checked Aliexpress, dhgate and Ebay. They all sell the same 1 minute DRL board.

If you are bored sometime, please film your drl sequence and attach the video here. Thanks.

well, the sequence and timing is exactly like the original ones of the ILS headlamps. one thing to note is that the white is a tad brighter than the original ones as well.

I found the link to the 5secs sequence, here it is:

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/LED-...5d2a3c002HASZe

I messaged the seller and he verified that his is not the 1 minute type. Only thing is that his is more expensive.

i wanted to undertake the same project. Problem is I don't know where to begin from !

I live out here in Canada.

I know that I need the headlight units from ebay for life $500 ( canadian dollars ) a piece and I know I need ballast which costs like $80 a piece. No, I'm not aware of any other parts needed. Need some foolproof Idea as there is one plug-n-play available on ebay which I don't trust as I'm pretty sure there is some programming that might be needed to be done on the car's computer.

Could you please help me out on the details ?

Thanks in advance for taking your time on reading this !

You misunderstood. My post was originally about swapping out the DRL board to get the blue 3 second glow on unlock.
This isn't a full headlight swap. Click the Ebay link at top post.

oh ok !

But if I'm not mistaken i think I saw your post where you replace your haolgens with full-blown LEDs ??

The one where you suggest a seller on ebay by the name "JGRT_CarLight" with the 2-LED accessory!

thanks for your reply !
