Benzdude ...can you close the cup holder compartment with your phone charging? I guess it depends on phone size. I have an iPhone X. I just really like the look of the center console when everything is closed...

If you place your phone on top of the ash tray, tilt the cover down a bit and push it back all the way, there is an extra inch and half of space back there. it fits nicely.

I had previously ordered the fast charger below and taped it on top of the ash tray.

This DIY solution works, but it required me to tilt the cover every time and push my note 9 back (the phones wireless charge receiver is only in the center of the phone.)

But I am lazy.

I agree. $$$ It was actually $150 with tax, but it solved many issues for me. Fast DHL shipping was included which is usually $30 from China.

Quality and design is high. Fit is perfect, no rattles. I give it 100% for looking and working as advertised.

what's not to like. it's a phone holder that also charge your phone. 10W wireless charging on Android phones. dont think the Mercedes factory installed unit do 10W ?

Dont worry, I wont charge you for measuring.

My Note 9 in a Spigen Rugged Armor case Is 3.25 inches wide and fits easily.

The entire width of the charging area is 3.5 inches.

Height is irrelevant, only depends on the position of the charge coil on your phone. I have to put my cup on the right side holder now.

Edit: I would also make sure your chosen case allows wireless charging passthrough.

i guess you new to Amazon Prime. 90% of stuffs with Prime, you get it in 2 days or overnight, or even same day. this items are sitting and shipping from Amazon warehouse.

Received mine today (ordered Saturday). Installed in five seconds. Clicks in tight. I haven’t driven with it yet, but I don’t think it will rattle.
Seems to work just fine. I have an iPhone 8 with an Otterbox case. It has two rubber “ribs” that the phone rests on. I’m sure it will hold it in place most of the time. The phone may move slightly if cornering hard, but I don’t see that being a real issue.
All-in-all I’m happy. Gonna go for a quick drive and see how it does.
