Quote: I'm from Sweden and here and maybe the rest of Europe has a flap over the socket does the sighill still fits with this flap?

probably. It plugs in with a short cord. There is extra room behind that side of the unit.
Worst case remove the flap.

Yes, its a cord with a male cigarette plug on the back.

It might fit with the flap on, since there is some space at the top of the sighill (white arrows).

Also, there is about 5mm of space in back (red arrow) between the sighill and outlet. Otherwise, you can try removing the flap without breaking it.

I ordered mine from Amazon yesterday should arrive today. Looking forward to trying it! I never really needed it before but now my iPhone battery has started to degrade so this should solve the problem.

Hi guys,

Sorry I'm about to reveive this post, but I was looking for something to charge my iPhone Xs Max in my car and stumbled on this interesting post. If you don't mind I have a few questions.
  1. Does this fit into a Mercedes C Coupe (model c205) with a manual gearbox? (See image below)
  2. Does the iPhone Xs Max charge? I've read some reviews stating it doesn't.
Thanks for replying.

Kind regards,
Zino

Question: W205 Apple CarPlay is wired and not wireless, so if you're using Apple CarPlay you're going to have to plug it in anyway, right?

Finally pulled the trigger on this. It's now at $99 on Amazon. Great addition to unused space. Still over priced at 99 IMO.

This looks absolutely fantastic! But it's £110 ($140USD) in the UK, that's a tad bit too pricey in my opinion. Wish it was cheaper, would've gotten it!

So, it has been a year since you installed that wireless charger.
How is it doing so far?

I would really like to know the durability before I spend the $125
