Tiny failing?
I just noticed their is gaps where the panoramic roof starts. I’m not sure what it’s called? I have included a picture, has anyone else had this problem?

I don't on mine. Does any water get through? And is the car under warranty? If yes to both, get it fixed under that. If yes and no, I'd find a good independent shop and see whether they can rectify it.

Cars out of warranty and no water gets thru it, is it just tint that needs repairing?

That's a UV coating that has degraded and flaking off - any competent paint shop can repair - they strip off the "old" and respray a fresh coating

Does anyone know what this part is called? The guy that details my car says it common and easier to replace the entire piece than paint it

Actually you detail guy doesn't know "paint" - it's a quick and affordable job to strip and shot a fresh UV coating... like maybe $200 any competent shop can do,,,
