Good job man it looks very elegant with those blacked out chrome trims. I'm not a fan of chrome trims but it doesn't look bad in this kind of car. I'm thinking in blacking out everything but the wheels on mine. I'm wondering if you did wheels spacers and exhaust by now.

OP said it's a GTR style grill. What's the difference between this gtr and panamericana?

I actually sold the car a while back, Didn't do exhaust or spacers.

The GT-R/Pan-American grill is the same thing

I'm surprised as your car looked really nice. Can you share what made you decide to sell it? You had the car for a little more than a year right? I wonder what car did you get now.

I had it for about half a year actually. I sold it because I did not want to own it out of warranty + I made a profit selling it.

During my time of ownership here are the issues that came up:
- Wind noise from the panoramic roof not closing properly (fixed under warranty)
- Suspension clunk when going over abrupt bumps, car had Airmatic... did not want to deal with the huge bills on those.
- Interior creeks and rattles
- The turbo waste gates started to clatter. Coming from a BMW 335i with the infamous waste gate rattle issue, I did not want to deal with it. (Dealer said it was normal and didn't fix it)

I'm in the process of getting either an F80 M3 or 17' E300

Cool!
I like the F80 m3's sedan. What year are you thinking? Around here the 2018 are going for like $55k for a 25k miles one.
I also liked the 17" e300, specially the interior and front end. I was going in that route but that i4 engine set me back.

All these posts about c400 problems makes me want to sell mine in 6 months too.
Damn I just paid $1700 in taxes to register it so I have to use for at least a year to make the buy worth it.
I got mine with expired warranty from a private seller. Paid 26k for a 30k miles one.

When I test drove mine I was looking for the axles clicking/clunking noise but it didn't happened.
After bough the car and drove it to work for like 13 miles I heard the noise in the parking lot. Got really pissed.
But after digging more in this forums about that issue saw people posting that is just a noise issue and that it won't fail or get worse.
I decided to buy a used oem axles on ebay. Found a 17" c300 axles for $180 a piece. Not planning to install those right away. I will see if mine gets worse in time.

I see a lot of people with this pano roof problem. I won't even touch mine now that winter came. I will probably just lube the rails before something happens.

I really wanted a c400 with the airmatic one but now I'm glad I didn't get one with it. I heard it costs like 6k to fix it. And for a luxurious car like this to hear noises after going over bumper isn't acceptable in my opinion. Not even my lowered old drift spec 350z makes noises going over bumps. Not even my '98 240sx.

Did not come across interior rattles just yet. Fingers crossed.

That's WG clatter is new to me. First time that I'm seen someone talk about this issue. I remember those noises from the 335i's like you said.

Thanks for the reply and I hope you post a pic of you new car here soon.
