After 2 months of ownership the only thing I regret is buying a 6 cylinder with these crazy gas prices here.
I've done:
- Lowered using Airmatic links... still needs adjustments overall
- Blacked out some of the chrome trim.. still need to do the trunk and tail pipes
- Installed C63 Style diffuser
- Installed Gtr style grill
- Tinted rear windows
- Paint corrected and ceramic coated
To do:
- Decide on what spoiler to get
- Exhaust
- Paint the wheels gloss black
- Get wheel spacers... any recommendations?
- Apple Car play module

With gas prices almost $6/gal equivalent here you would be complaining also. My BMW days of going fast are over, it’s slow and classy for me now.

Damn. You're spending $108 US for a tank of gas?!?! Now I don't feel so bad with my little four cylinder c300.
Sure I'd like to squeeze another little bit of horsepower out of it for that stop light to stop light accelerated heart rate but not $108 US worth that's for sure. I think right now it cost me about $70 CAD a tank. Thank you for putting things into perspective for me.

Yup premium gas here has been around $1.92 a litre. It costs about $120 CAD a tank. Safe to say I’ve been driving on eco mode haha I would rather a c300 but it was hard to find the same options such as burmester in one.

I'm in the GTA so I think it's around $1.45 CAD per litre right now. My condolences to you on the MPG but now you get to experience the whole gamification thing LOL I drive to the office sometimes and see how low I can get the fuel consumption.
I suppose instead of spending all the extra money on trying to get the horsepower into the 300 range, or upgrading to a c400/c450, I could black out my chrome and mirror covers, add a decent set of night package style rims or have mine refinished so that they resemble night package, and upgrade the internal speakers a little bit. I don't have the Burmeister so I'm envious there!
Well look at it this way. When gas gets so expensive you can't afford to run it any more it'll look classy as hell in the driveway!!!
