2019 Engine oil check/suction: No dipstick??

Hi cant seem to locate the dipstick on my recently purchased C300.The manual says some are onboard computer read only
.I usually suck oil out with a marine pump from the dipstick tube for my W204.
Does that mean I either have to crawl underneath in my old age for the newer W205 or give $350 to the dealer for A service?
Is there a hidden dipstick tube with a cover eg Audi,Porsche 4cyl Macan/Q5? .Can I buy a dipstick and put it there.?
Thanks

MB dealers have for years been changing oil by sucking it out from the top - I would be very surprised if they changed that. There must be an access point somewhere to reach the sump.

Hi Petaling, I have exactly the same car and question as you do! Have you found out where the dipstick is?

Days so weird a car without a dipstick? How can the owner check engine oil quantity quality and color?

That’s not good. My previous engine didn’t have it but it was annoying. I’m glad my 17 C300 have it.

So, does that mean the MY 2019 has the new engine? I know MY 15, 16, and 17 have 241hp, and MY 19 has 255hp.
Is that correct?

Yes, it looks like the 2019 c300 has the new M264 engine with the 48 volt integrated starter/alternator. The previous engine with the dipstick is the 241hp M274. The GLC will get the new M264 for MY2020.

So, new engine means new layout, there should be a way to check the engine oil quality and level.

My wife drives Audi Q5's and they have been without a physical dipstick since at least 2015 on their 2.0L turbo engine. There is a screen in the gauge cluster display to get the oil level reading.

My 2011 BMW 328i had no dipstick. How do the cars without dipstick get oil changes? Do they drain, or is there some spiffy fitting that allows suction?

I think I have the same question. I decided to check oil level today but didn’t see the usual dipstick piece. Or maybe I’m just not familiar with how it looks. Would this be the dip stick? Pic below.

In recent years, several mfrs have replaced the dipstick with electronic sensors. Progress I suppose. I have to admit though, that engine layouts have made dipstick geometry increasingly complicated. This video covers C300 4Matic oil & filter change operation; I assume it's the same on the FWD.

It says the engine must have a dipstick first before this can be checked manually. There is no dipstick.I am mainly interested in the dipstick tube to suck oil out for oil and filter change which is feasible in earlier w205 and w204

in my old age i try not to crawl under the car.I am trying to do it the suction way which was still feasible in earlier iteration of the w205 as seen in video by Rebecca above.

It would seem possible that oil changes can't be done by vacuum on the new engines, unless there is some kind of sump access. I would think the dealers would not be happy to have to go back to the old fashion gravity oil change.

Based on the page referenced in @benzdude's post from September, page 355 of the 2019 owner's manual shows the non-dipstick method:

For checking via the dashboard, it does say "Requirements - The engine must have an oil level sensor. If not, the engine oil level can be checked only with the oil dipstick"

So I would assume that if you have the oil level option under Service > Engine Oil Level, then you will not have a dipstick.

First they take your V6 and gave you a clunky 4.

Then they take your dipstick.
