Fastest W205 C300
I have a 2015 Mercedes C300 that’s in the shop right now because of a blown engine and turbo. I’m having the same 2.0L I4 engine put back in, but pure turbos are building me custom turbo internals that are stage 2. After the engine, turbo, and a new Weistec downpipe are put in the car is going to get tuned. I should have about just shy of 400 crank horsepower. I am very curious if anyone has beaten this number with a W205 C300. If so I’d love to hear about your setup.
I actually had an oil leak while running the car at a rpm and speed it probably shouldn’t have been at at the time, because I was misfiring out of cylinder 1. But basically the car ran itself out of oil and caused the motor and turbo to seize. I haven’t exactly got a straight answer yet out of what caused it but I was told it was caused internally and not by aftermarket parts that I had on at the time

So I am at just 400hp with no internals changed except valve springs and let me tell you I have so many issues with my gearbox. Here is my setup
1. tornado tuning intercooler
2. tornado tuning Charge pipe
3. tornado tuning catless down pipe
4. tornado tuning turbo intake pipe
5. carbon fiber intake pipes
6. tornado tuning cold air intake
7. Turbo kits.com 59mm turbo with coated manifold
8. AMR stage 3 tune
9. AMR transmission tune
10. brand new 722.9 transmission
11. Tornado tuning high performance coil packs
12. turbo kits.com valve springs.
13. GFB BOV (because recirculating 32psi can cause turbo lifespan issues)
make sure you have a good tune on that transmission because the 722.9 from the c43 does not play nice so the factory transmission is the only option.

Just trying to set realistic expectations..... its definitely not easy to hit 400hp (and also depending on whether its on wheel or on the crank)... even with the Turbokits hybrid turbo.
you would need something larger like a Borg Warner EFR 6758 with meth and a lot of boost to get there... OR... if you are using Ethanol fuel to bump up the power.
So far with those who have extensively modded their rides, there is a substantially higher torque which they will feel, but it doesnt constitute the higher hp since the torque is more low to mid rpm and dropping off thereafter at the higher rpms.
Cheers!

Stock HP 241
1. intake: +10 = 251hp
2. catless downpipe + 15hp = 266hp
3. Turbo kit turbo + 80 hp = 346hp
4. stage 3 amr tune +30hp = 376hp
5. downpipes back exhaust + 10hp =386hp
so he figures we are sitting at 386hp at the crank are these figures unrealistic and why? Obviously the dyno will answer that but on my 335xi when I lived closer to town we dynoed after each mod and made a bit higher for each one of the mods above. like 15hp for intake and 25hp for the catless pipe, 50hp for the tune and so on... thank you for setting me straight either way.
