CEL p0238
I removed the dinantronics piggyback remover today and after I started the car, I got a check engine light on that read p0238 turbocharger/ supercharger boost sensor A circuit high. Anyone have any idea what that means? Is is tested to the piggyback?

I never got that code after removing the Dinan Piggyback. When was the last time you removed it? Is the car running normal? I would definitely check the connection again. Maybe driving around will fix the CEL.

Looks like the CEL went off. Now the auxiliary battery malfunction sign is blinking..so many headaches from this vehicle. Gotta figure out if the CEL and this aucillary batter are related / how to change out the auxiliary battery..I feel like this’ll be a feast for the dealership if I bring this in

I think the dealership charged me around $250 to replace the aux battery this past winter. I'll see if I can find the receipt and let you know. They refused to warranty it even though the car was only 2.5 years old.

Thats strange, my girlfriend has the same car as me but still had factory warranty and they covered. Unfortunately I’m out of factory warranty

I had a CEL code within 2 days of installing my Dinantronics. P0236 Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance. That is the sensor the Dinantronics messes with to get the computer to up the boost. The messing of the signal by the Dinantronics piggy back was supposed to not be detectable by the computer but I think its pretty clear our cars' can see there is something messing with the sensor reading.

I recently removed and reconnected mine for a dealer visit. No codes thrown. I’m not sure if you folks are disconnecting the battery, I am not.

Within a week. It was fine when I was moderate on the throttle. The light came on when I was heavier on the throttle and in manual shift. 2018.
