Navigation from eBay?
I'm seeing that you can buy the navigation cards off eBay, but I'm not sure if it's just a plug in and it works or not. Has anyone gotten one of these? I'd hate to buy one and find out I have to go to the dealer to activate it or something! My car didn't come with navigation.

Yes this is do-able without a trip to the dealer. I was able to add the Garmin based navigation to mine last month just by purchasing the SD Card from eBay.
First, check your VIN against one of the online M-B VIN decoder websites like https://www.datamb.com/
You will want to look for two packages that indicate your vehicle has the GPS antenna and wiring already preinstalled:
Also, there are two different part numbers depending on your model year/build date. I purchased part number A2139069903 which will work for 2015-2017 model years. If your W205 was built after 08/2017 you will need part number A2189062003 instead.
Be aware that once the SD Card is inserted into the vehicle and activated, that card becomes "married" to the vehicle permanently and cannot be used in any other car. This is something to be wary of when purchasing on eBay. The first card I bought had already been activated by the seller out of ignorance because he "just wanted to test it out first". Had to get a refund and then buy from another seller, which then worked as expected.
