Does anyone know how to remove the sliver passenger side dash trim?

I know it has clips to pull on, but does the command display first need to be removed?

Sadly, MB WIS.net no longer exists.

Yes, you need to remove the display first. When i removed on my 2016 C300 aside of the clips that are keeping in place this part was double side tape attached.
