hey everyone, i have a 2013 c250 that i bought about a year ago. when you step on the gas hard the check engine light comes on. I took it to a Mercedes dealer and they said it was the fuel pump but at the time there were no fuel pumps available in germany or anywhere. I was called about 6 months ago and they said that they had a fuel pump but i never got it changed. I am wondering has anyone had a Mercedes fuel pump replaced as of late and did it actually fix the problem? I was told when i was at Mercedes that i should not go to an auto parts store and buy one because they were not sure that the problem is actually fixed...whatever the problem may have been. So, im wondering, as some time has passed are the fuel pumps actually fixed? They quoted me 1500 for the new pump and labor but i will most likely just buy one and put it in myself. They said the pump is 700 bucks. I found them online at mbpartsusa for around that price. Is it wise to get one from there or should i get one from a dealer?
