Unable to skip tracks with iOS13

Ever since I upgraded to the iPhone 11 and iOS13 I am unable to skip forwards, backwards, fast forward or rewind using the wheel, steering wheel or the selecting the options on the display.

in fact, I can’t even select a track from the track list.

My partner also has this issue on a different brand of vehicle so assuming it’s the phone OS.

Anyone else?

I’m having the same problem - I also have an iPhone 11.

Tried with my old iPhone 7 on iOS 13 and I can skip etc with that, so not sure if it’s just iOS 13 when it’s running on the iPhone 11.

Definitely is the OS. Just wait until ios 13.2 comes out as we can only hope that apple has tickets about the issues on wired/bluetooth control.

Thanks. Playlist artwork is also wrong which seems to be a common problem.

This shoudl have been resolved with IOS 13.1.1 onwards i believe.

If you have upgraded your iPhone iOS - with your iPhone unplugged from the MB - go into the head unit settings - "delete" the old phone profile - reboot head unit (turn off and turn back on) and pair your "new" phone to the MB...

I also have the same issue with my iPhone 8 when it's connected via lightning cable. I'm on iOS 13.1.2 and it definitely isn't resolved and is quite annoying.

It's intermittent. Mostly doesn't work, but every now and then it does.

I've changed all my Face ID setting so it should work unlocked and still no difference.

Waze looks pooched on the car screen when using XS max with apple CarPlay on my c300.

latest ios installed

I had installed the latest IOS and kept updating to the latest, still NOT able to skip sounds from USB connection. I was only able to skip from bluetooth connection

Also having the same problem still. We will just have to keep waiting. I did what a previous poster suggested and deleted the phone from the headunit and rebooted both and it worked for about 20 minutes then flamed out.
