Check Engine Light - Low Fuel System Pressure

Yesterday morning, the check engine light turned on about 2 minutes into my 5 minute commute. When I got to the office, I removed the gas cap (even though it did not feel loose), put it back on, and the light immediately cleared. On my evening commute, which is longer, the light didn't come back on.

This morning, same light same timing. Ran an OBDII over lunch and recieved a "Low Fuel System Pressure" code. As far as I can tell, the car is running just fine. Anyone have any idea what this might be, short of a fuel pump replacement?

either a bad cap or bad sensor, makes sense when its cooler the pressure is less.
