Hi guys, I have been experiencing rattle noise from almost 1 year and I took my car to MB service and they could not pin point the rattle noise even after visits.
did anyone experience this same issue that you hear rattle noise from your deck area while driving over bumps.
There should be a few adjustable rubber bumper type screws on the inside of the trunk lid. They should be adjusted so that they just touch the rear bumper when lid is closed. Or is the glass tapping against the rear window brake light? Or the license plate?
I had rattle issues after i installed a trunk sub. The rear deck was hitting the glass during heavy bass. I bought adhesive foam pads , stuck two together, and inserted one on either side of the deck , in the back window.
Then i noticed a rattle from the driver side pillar trim (above the rear seat) but it turns out i inserted the excess usb cable for my dash cam under the trim and it was make the noise.

A MILLION thank you's to you my friend. I literally tore my entire trunk apart trying to understand why it rattles over little bumps at very slow speeds. I actually got in the trunk and had my wife drive me around. I pin pointed the rattle to the back of the trunk lid. I even drove down the street with the trunk up, and yes, the rattle stopped when it was up. I was about to take my 2020 C300 to an audio shop and have them dynamat the entire trunk lid. Tightening up those rubber screw bumpers stopped the rattle completely. You are a savior!
