DRL Color Change
Has anybody changed the colors of their DRLs?
Ive seen the ones that change the color during startup but I am more interested in changing them permanently with having the option of going back to the regular white color when needed.
I know some people think it’s corny but I like it lol Thanks y’all!

2017 C300
Installed RGB DRLs on my car. It isn’t connected the OEM harness so there will be errors upon car start up. The colors are nice but the white has a slight purple hue to it. Also exterior ambient light doesn’t work with the RGB DRL because it’s powered by its own module and the battery.

Where did you get the RGB DRLs from and did you install them yourself?
Im not concerned with the outside ambient lighting just the drls so that’s fine

Aliexpress user icedriver. Not as a simple as plug and play as there is a module required and you need to do some wiring. The lights do look nice and you use a phone to connect to the module through Bluetooth to change colors.

How did you wire it? I've tried wiring a couple times but still doesn't work. I have the power hooked to a 15 fuse in the middle of the engine fuse box. But my driver side light stays yellow(with or without power and won't change). I got the passenger light to work, but as soon as I tried to use my blinker the light shut off and I can't get it back in. I tried talking to ice driver people but they aren't helpful. Is the fuse you need to tap into specific? And what size fuse should I be looking for? Or do I need to add a completely new fuse?
