Our dog chewed on the rear seat belt (right hand side) so I ordered a new one to replace it and was wondering if anyone has a schematic laying around on how to take apart the seat and the trim. The seat seems fairly simple to take apart but I not so sure about the trim surrounding the seat belt.

Any help is appreciated

Im not real familiar with the W205, but cant see it being much different than the W204, I have replaced the rear seat belts on the W204, cant see them changing the way they fit trim.
Also remember not to start the car or turn ignition on until you have replaced the seat belt, as it will bring up a airbag light that can only be removed with a scan tool that does SRS

To pull the rear seat swab you just have to feel under the front edge you will feel where to lift it from, it will unclip with a decent pull up, then push the swab to the back of the car and lift to get it to release from the rear clip.
Unscrew the lower bolt for the seat belt.
Then pull the door seal away from the C pillar and the cover that seat belt goes through, you have to pull the internal C pillar cover toward the front of the car so the clips slide out, dont try and pry it out as you will break the tangs on the cover that secure the clips to it, it can be a bit fiddly, once removed you will see that the seat belt has one bolt and the wiring for the pirofuse, I just undo the seat belt and pull it out enough to un-clip the pirofuse wiring, then just refit the new seat belt.

Remember though that when you un-clip the pirofuse you have to pull the different colour centre of the plug out enough to allow the plug to release ( only a few mm ), dont try and pry it out as you will damage the plug and it wont stay in the new seat belt which will cause the airbag light to come on

When you install the trim back for the rear pillar just remove the clips from the C pillar, the plastic one I get with some side cutters gently prying it out, then there will be a metal circular shaped one that you have to twist and pull as you unscrew it, just refit them to the cover before fitting.
Hope this helps

Awesome - thanks Justin. Do you have the schematics for a S205 estate model?
