Integrated Automotive carplay retrofit
Hi all,
Anyone who have this unit:

Well, you will find a lot of people "talking" about adding CarPlay - but I have not seen any glowing reports that say "it's great - installed smoothly - works great !"
It is best to shoot your VIN# to Vladimir in Belarus and ask if CarPlay or Android Auto can be "OBD programmed" to your Mercedes. I just got thru a project adding Android Auto to a 2019 GT63C4S - in this case Mercedes did not offer Android Auto for 2019 but Mercedes had added Android Auto to the 2020 GT - and Vladimir was able to get tha done.It's worth a shot even if the answer is "no".
In China - they normally replace the MB system/head-unit with a Android based replacement - and then have "USB dongles" that add wired or wireless CarPlay - and those "USC dongles" work for Android systems only and not for the Mercedes system.
There are "media boxes" that do connect into the Mercedes system - and Aliexpress can get you closer to the "Original China Source" - I have no comment on how they work out
