Resonator for Rasp

So I recently got my downpipes installed, and its a bit more raspier than I thought it was going to be. I heard resonators are the way to go as far as reducing the raspyness, so I'm trying to see if there are any specific companies that make resonators for the rasp but increase the loudness or without reducing the loudness. Not sure if I explained it well enough.

So you're trying to make it not sound like a diesel

Eh I'm just trying to get rid of the raspyness from the downpipes. It sounds like a ricer honda but deeper tone.

you could throw any resonator in there, an exhaust shop might have a better idea what will dull it the most

That's what I am going to do, but wasn't sure if there are any specific brands that make resonators to reduce raspyness.

nah, it's probably all the same crap with a different sticker on it. I can't believe how much money a metal tube goes for with the right name stamped on it.

I've talked to other people who have had downpipes and the awe track exhaust and they said it was to raspy for their liking as well. Some of them added MagnaFlow Universal Spun Converters 53956 to their exhaust configuration and said it drastically reduced their raspiness and were happy after doing this change. I currently have FI exhaust and weistec downpipes and considering doing this myself. Hope this helps point you in the right direction !

Thank you! I was looking for an answer like this. Damn, I'd also hate to see you cut up an aftermarket exhaust system, mine is all custom.
