People w/ 9.33 Aftermarket Screen...
Could you give me a review of the thing? I'm looking to add CarPlay using one of these, but I want to make sure this would be a better option than the AA/CP boxes I see all over aliexpress and ebay.

I've had both and I think it's really a matter of what you want. I think the screens are nice, and they're big AND the big plus is they're touchscreen which makes life easier when entering addresses and what not. I felt it was fairly easy to install. The downside in my opinion is that if it breaks then you have to disassemble everything to get to it otherwise you have no HVAC, audio, or stock Nav controls. With the standalone box, if it freezes you can simply unplug the harness and go back to the stock system or plug the harness back in and force it to reboot. I don't know how prone to failure the aftermarket screens are, but I haven't heard too many horror stories. I'm currently running a standalone box (I returned my 9.33 screen) but will probably upgrade to the 10"+ screen in the spring. I don't run any audio through the aux, just bluetooth. This is because I like to listen to XM and have carplay up at the same time, which I couldn't do otherwise. In fact I can't remember if I could even do it on my c300 loaner with carplay. I have the carplay box connected to a small aux speaker that gives me my waze/google maps prompts. I'm satisfied with it.
