Catalyst & 02 Monitor : NOT READY ( Drive cycle info and recommendations)
Need help from community: Recently had work done on the car and went for emissions testing and failed.
Got the following errors:
Monitor Catalyst : NOT READY
Monitor O2: NOT READY
I understand that there a “drive cycle” to be completed. I have researched about 9 different conflicting reports on what to do/ and what not to do.
Everything from youtube, to articles and different manufactures specs and methods.
Can anyone recommend in their experience what has worked for them ? this is for the c400/C450 platform. I am looking for experience from someone who has actually done it as opposed to what
Someone might think might work. This is an invaluable piece of info that can help those of us with the w205 platform who encounter this wall.

this works on my 2003 C320 coupe, you can try it.
drive on freeway for 30 minutes each way,
then put car in park and press gas until rpm at 2500-3000 for 3 minutes with AC and rear defrost on.
that' it.
