How can I tell if my car is 4matic

Hi All,
A few months back I acquired a 17 plate C220D which is a premium plus model. Car Registered in April 2017
On the dealers website, it stated that the car wasn't 4Matic and it doesn't have the badge at the rear of the car either with the text 4Matic.I just have in chrome "C220D"
With insurance companies however, they've stated that the car is a 4Matic system and they pick up their information via the number plate of the car.

I'd like to know is there a way that I can tell if the car is in fact AWD? This is pretty much my first car after moving on from a 2006 Ford Fiesta so knowledge around the car is somewhat limited! Seeing if there's anything that stands out which I can just look at and confirm what the car is

Turn the front wheel far left or right. You can see a driveshaft if it’s AWD.

Wouldn't a drive shaft exist even for a RWD system?

Ah right ok, I get it now.

I had to Google what a drive shaft was and the results all showed them being connected to the rear!

I'll take a pic because I don't think I know what I'm looking for entirely and post it here

OK, so I've taken the attached photos. I can't see anything that seems to make it an AWD unless somethings hidden under the plastic compartment?
