2015 C300

Rear Strut replacement

I have a blown rear right strut, it is not covered in my extended warranty. The mechanic said I need to replace both at the same time for tuning reasons. Is this the consensus?

2019 GLC300, 2017 E300

typically replaced in pairs. I would agree w/ him.

I've been told the Bilstein B4 rear shock strut is the same as the OEM for Mercedes C300...Any disagreement here?
