I bought these new china lights but i have problem, its flickring..i don't know why..also there is no blue light as yours when unlock the car with key

 

Mine is 2015..do you think the sam is different than your car? Or all the w205 2015 to 2018 have the same sam?

 

Mine is an early 2016 but the wiring should be the same. Did yours include any kind of adapter harnesses with them to go between the headlight and the factory connector?

Quality of products out of China can vary greatly; just because they look the same visually on the outside, they may still be different electronics/wiring wise.

 

Yes i have the connection between them..but it shouldn't be use for my lights type ..also for yours..did you use them?

 

According to instructions you shouldn't use them..i have the same instructions manual of your lights..but the problem of mine they are flickering..did you use the adapter or you connect the lights direct as i did?

 

Yes, plugged in direct and with the two internal pigtails (red & green) unplugged per the instructions. Mine don't flicker at all.

Was it a straight plug and play into your original halogen set up? Also was the that the same price you paid? And in asking that just curious if they went up. Not asking for what you paid if that makes sense.

Just got a response from the seller on ebay... sent me the following document (below). This looks different than what you received.... and in the reply he said the following regarding working in the US: "Yes should be same. Before we sold to US customer"

 

Interesting! Looks like they've added some additional wiring since I received mine in January.

Doesn't look too complicated, although it was direct connect for me.

 

Ya thats exactly what I was thinking, the wiring is different. Did you have to run a power wire from the headlight to the battery?

 

No I didn't. That whole second photo looks like extra stuff.

 

Ya looks completely different, and he said its not plug and play....

I sent him the PDF you attached to the thread and let him know that what he is sending is different than the other installations I have seen here in the US.

Yes, as already mentioned several times in this thread (including a photo), I started with the stock halogen lights.

I am NOT affiliated with the seller or associated with any other aspect regarding the sale of these lights.

I bought mine, they work great, wanted to share my experience with the group. I can't guarantee to anyone that their experience will be the same as mine.

No worries! I'm just not sure why it would have changed. Maybe they switched suppliers on the manufacturing side?

 

This is very dangerous to the sam..you may have problems in the future..and its complicated ..the right solution for flickring is to install software on the sam for the new lights via star system (online software) you need specialist for this..my lights is working now

 

Yeah you DEFINITELY got something completely different from mine then, at least electronically.

Oh, if you originally had the halogen lights, I made a pinout of the factory connector to better understand the signals. My aftermarket headlights work with my existing wiring:

 

mine are working the same now..but i commented to the 2nd picture of crc901..its dangerous to make such connection..and what i understood; the lights works plug and play on halogen lights for US cars not for the European, its need software as i did to my car..but for semi led and full led cars it works plug and play also without any software for both US and Europe cars.

 

ya I wish I could 100% get what you got.

he came back saying he sent the wrong file... I just dont know if I can trust it... that’s to much money to risk not knowing lol. Just the fact he is unsure on top of language barrier worries me.
