I had been on the fence about it for my car because, although I wanted to upgrade my halogen headlights, I didn't really want to spend $1.5k on something that looks like it came from the factory anyway. I wanted something different.
and was immediately interested because they are styled after one of the new model LED configurations, while also claiming compatibility with older halogen-equipped W205's as well. After some back and forth with the seller via email (where he also sent me the installation instructions for reassurance), I pulled the trigger and bought them.
Well they arrived this morning after their long journey from China:
The backside is all solid state and houses two LED controller boards:
For installation on a halogen equipped W205, one of the LED controllers has to be unscrewed (four Torx T-20 screws) and two pigtail harnesses inside need to be unplugged. Apparently the two pigtail harnesses are used alternately to configure compatibility with vehicles that came factory equipped with either halogen, LED, or ILS (kinda like jumpers on a circuit board).
It only took me about an hour to install them and I am very happy with the end results. The DRL eyebrows power up blue and then increase in intensity until they turn white. They also cycle blue and back to white each time the turn signal is cancelled as well.
Congrats, they look phenomenal. In my humble opinion, I like the styling of the pre-facelift ILS units rather than these. Nonetheless, they look flawless from the pictures. Again, congrats on the pickup.

Here is the guide that they came with scanned as a PDF. The page I referenced previously for US halogen models is page 5 in the attached PDF. Note that the guide really only talks about the pigtails/jumpers. The actual electrical connection to the car is plug and play using the existing harness connectors. The headlights do also come with an added harness for cars that are equipped with factory LED units; those harnesses are not used in the halogen upgrade --it is a straight plug-in to the factory harness. The guide refers to halogen as "Low", factory LED as "Middle", and factory ILS as "High".

I never realized that there were American VS European ILS head lights. I can't see the difference. They are both the same style?

I actually like the look of the 2019 base led (except that corner orange) but prefer the ILS features.
Hi DiamondSilver, how is the quality of the lights ? Are they auto levelling as well ?
@Daryl Loh The lights appear to be of good quality. The plastics, lenses, and fitment are all comparable to the OEM units I removed. Even the rubber seals along the top that mate with the hood are nice quality and line up perfectly.
